Our process starts with finding out exactly what you need. We want to know what your dance style and experience are, your costume needs, the colors and styles you prefer, your figure type, and any ideas you have for your couture gown. If you have photos or sketches of dresses with elements that you want included in your design, we can discuss those during this preliminary phase.
Next, we take all of your measurements so that we can fit the dress exactly to your body. View our measurement guide to learn more about the measurements we need to create your dress.
Once the preliminary style elements have been determined and your measurements taken, we will design a sketch of your dress. We will revise the sketch as needed until you are perfectly happy with the design.
During the sketch phase, we will also determine the fabrics and trims that will be used. Swatches will be provided for your approval.
Once the dress has been sewn together but before it is hemmed or embellished, we will have you try on the dress to make sure we have a good fit.
Finally, when the dress is completed, we will have you try it on one last time to ensure the dress is exactly what you want.
The price of your couture ballroom or latin gown will depend on the style and stoning you choose.
The length of the design process depends upon the complexity of the design and stoning.
We suggest you plan several weeks in advance of your competition to allow ample time for creation and completion of your gown.
